Fluoride free toothpaste, teeth feel clean

Beauty Products

This is my new favorite toothpaste! A lot of people are starting to hear these days that fluoride is not good for your teeth and are wanting to go with natural toothpaste. Is fluoride good for you teeth? Yes and no. Calcium fluoride is good for your teeth. Sodium fluoride is not. And sodium fluoried is the type of fluoride you find in regular toothpaste. It’s also the type of fluoride they put in tap water in a lot of areas. Sodium fluoride is actually toxic waste. If you don’t believe me, look it up. This toothpaste has none of the crap you don’t want in a toothpaste and everything you do want! The ingredient list is: Water, Coconut Oil, Xylitol, Diatomaceous Earth, Baking Soda, SuperMint Flavor (Wintergreen Essential Oil, Spearmint Essential Oil), Activated Charcoal, Citric Acid, Tea Tree Oil, Xanthan Gum. It does not contain fluoride or sodium lauryl sulfate. And it is made in the USA, which is so important when it comes to anything that will go into or on your body.

Coconut oil is fantastic for teeth! Helps keep plaque and tartar away and to remove them! It’s what we use to brush our dogs’ teeth. Xylitol is a natural sweetener that is actually good for your teeth. A lot of other countries use it in their toothpaste instead of fluoride to keep cavities away. Diatomaceous earth and baking soda are great for removing stains as is charcoal! The flavor is essential oils so completely safe. Tea tree oil fights infectious microorganisms that destroy tissues in the mouth, cause plaque, receding gums and tartar deposits. This toothpaste has a really great taste and, for those of you (yeah, it happens to me sometimes) who don’t have the greatest breath when you wake up in the morning, this, for me anyway, has completely taken care of that issue.

I’ve been using it every day for 10 days, first just once a day then twice a day after a few days and I already notice some whitening of my teeth. Hopefully you can see a bit of difference in my before and after pics. My husband and I can definitely see a difference. Due to the coconut oil, the toothpaste is a bit on the runny side. In the colder weather it should be thicker but, since it’s summer, it’s pretty liquid. I put mine in the fridge and it is the perfect consistency. Although we use coconut oil for our dogs’ teeth, this toothpaste should not be used on dogs! Although xylitol is great for humans it can be deadly for dogs. It seems strange that black toothpaste can turn your teeth white but it does the job!! I will be buying another tube ASAP so I don’t run out! I very highly recommend it to those of you who are seeking an alternative to non fluoridated toothpaste!!
